The County Wexford Organic Centre was set up in 2003 with the following objectives:

As a Demonstration Farm

To deliver training courses on site and to offer information and advice

To provide local supported employment through a social economy project

To supply organic produce for sale and to supply trees, shrubs and hedging

The Organic Centre is open to the public as a Demonstration Farm, a centre for certified training courses, workshops, demonstrations and community projects, and as a retail outlet for the organic farm and nursery.

In 2003, 6 acres were registered with The Organic Trust and a further 28 acres were registered in 2006 and are currently under conversion. 

 

Facilities at the Organic Centre include: a training room, meetings rooms, offices, canteen, training polytunnels, wet room and demonstration area

Anyone interested in converting to organic farming can seek advice at the Organic Centre.
